CONGRATULATIONS MINH ON COMPLETING THE CHEVRON CITY TO SURF HALF MARATHON

Our congratulations go out to Minh Hoang (one of our Directors) on successfully completing the 21km Chevron City to Surf for ACTIV fun run. Minh made it safely across the line in 2 hours, 23 mins. It is a solid effort especially when towards the end of the course and he had to tackle those hills around Perry Lakes.
Minh has already got his sights set on another half marathon later this year.

Orgment hosts Local Government Reform seminar

On Friday 29th November Orgment Consulting will be hosting a seminar for key representatives from the all the metropolitan local governments affected by the proposed Local Government Reform.
The proposed reduction in the number of local governments poses many challenges not only in the movement of boundaries but also the various mergers and divisions of local government entities, the business processes, work practices and systems, the supporting technology platforms and all the people impacted by these changes. In this instance the “people” element encompasses changes to not only staff but also to ratepayers and the many community groups.
Orgment Consulting will be sharing its approach and experience in managing community engagement and business change in the amalgamation and mergers of large government and commercial enterprise organisations. We will be discussing what change management actually is, the key principles required to successfully manage change and how to identify and successfully combat the potential risks and issues that often arise when major changes occur.
It is our aim to provide local government the support and information required to assist them to successfully lead their teams and communities through the period of transition and change that they have ahead of them.
